Only one legitimate accredidation

There is only one accredidation that counts and that is regional accredidation. I don't care if a college has a thousand accredidations, if they don't have regional accrediddation by the Commission on Higher Learning, then it doesn't mean anything.

Joanna--
Westwood is and has been accredited nationally by an organization called the ACICS, which itself has approval from the US Department of Education and is also licensed by the State of Illinois, Department of Higher Education. In fact we are currently being reviewed by another educational certifying body called the " Higher Learning Commission". All the instructors at the College have at least a Master's Degree from an accredited institution as well, and most have additionally been public law enforcement executives.
If you want further clarification about Westwood, courses, Degrees, programs, or accreditation, you can contact me. My name is Charles Chamberlin, I am the Program Director for the Criminal Justice Department.

Westwood College is certified and accredited by the ACICS, The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and all credits transfer to any other college certified by that national group. All degrees awarded are certified by that organization. In Criminal justice, we are currently awarding Bachelor of Applied Science Degrees. In addition we are currently undergoing certification by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as well.
Since the complaint was filed anonymously I am unable to contact Joanna, but she can certainly contact me to discuss this issue at 630-434-8250, I am the Chairman of the Criminal Justice Department at Westwood.
