WFNNB & Victoria's Secret Overcharging on "Fees" San Antonio Texas
I rec'd a collection call on 12/11/08 stating that I my account was overdue and in collections. The customer service rep. told me if I paid it over the phone that very day, that she would waive $20 and my account balance would be $0.
It is now 2/15/09 and all of a sudden I'm getting statements showing that I owe $42!!
I called their customer service (some lady in India) and she said their computer did not show any notes that their rep. had promised to waive $20 to make my account balance $0.
The cust. service lady said she was going to put my account into investigation so they'd have to pull the recorded tapes and listen to what their rep. promised me.
I refuse to pay their $42 in late fees on an account that was supposed to be paid off.
What a rip off! I'm writing to Victoria's Secret, WFNNB, Alliance Data (the parent company of WFNNB), and the better business bureau of Texas.
