Hi, I am hoping you can help resolve this issue with Whaling City Ford/Mazda. I am writing this on behalf of my girlfriend. The dealer did a recall to replace the airbag inflator. After the recall was done there was damage done to the dashboard. I have tried contacting Mazda and I am not getting anywhere. My girlfriend mentioned the damage to the dealer when it happened and they never did anything about it. Also the car has been to the dealer a total of 4 times all for the same issue. The car is a 2009 Mazda 6. I can be reached at (((REDACTED))) or you can reach my girlfriend Amy at (((REDACTED))). We have been in contact with another dealer and they told us how the recall was done and confirmed that the damage was done by the technician. Although the dealer is putting the blame on Mazda and the age of the vehicle now denying the damage. There was no crack in the dashboard prior to the car going to the dealer and having the recall done. Also the dealer is stating the car was in the shop for different reasons. My girlfriend can show the work orders when the car was in the shop. The part is a little under $200 and about $125 to install it. The dealer would be better off just settling with my girlfriend over roughly $325 give or take to make a customer happy and do the right thing. You can see the price of the part at the following link. parts.coxmazda.com/p/Mazda__/Instrument-Panel-Pad/67985291/GSYL60350.html. Also I can tell you my girlfriend and myself will never recommend this dealer to anyone unless this issue is resolved. From now on she will be going to a different Mazda dealer if the car needs to go to the shop again.

Thanks,
