I needed a rush order of personalized embroidered towels from What a Stitch Embroidery for an Event in Jamaica.  I called the number provided online and spoke to "Tina" and asked if she could overnight the towels to the address provided.  She said she could send it second day, so I told her I would email another address for her to send the towels to.  The towels were sent to the incorrect address and were not even sent second day, which I paid extra for!

I asked them for a refund of the SHIPPING ONLY and they completely denied me.  The towels were not able to be used for the Event at all, and our charge backs were not accepted by the bank.

When I called "Tina" to talk about the shipping issue, she told me "I can not be expected to listen to a phone conversation or email when shipping!!!  I only go off of the submitted form."

BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH WHAT A STITCH!  THEY ARE DISHONEST!

Emails:

Hi Tina,

Thank you for your rushing patience with us :)  We would like Picaso Blue with Black lettering (or a lettering color you think would look good) using Brody script.

Please ship to arrive on Tuesday (cheapest to arrive Tues is fine, they will be leaving for Jamaica on Weds).  Should cost around $25.00 or so for shipping.

Thank you!

After Not Receiving The Towels:

Hi Tina,

I have just arrived back in the country, and unfortunately never received the towels.  They were sent to the incorrect address, and went to our office 2 days late.  Unfortunately, we were not able to use them, as they were sent to the wrong address.

As we were not able to use the towels at our event, we would like to either return them for a full refund (including shipping), or keep them with a refund of just the shipping, as it was done incorrectly.

Please let me know your thoughts on this matter.

Thank you,

amy

Dear Amy,I have received your email and I had sent the towels to the address given by you.  I am sorry that you did not receive them but I got them done right away and went to UPS and had them delivered on time at the address that you gave me.

Hi Tina,

I have the original email copied below.  Please note the billing address that I included.  I also informed you over the phone before I sent the email of the address, as well as after I sent the email to ensure that you received it.

Unfortunately, as you did not send to the correct address, we were not able to use the towels.

Tina's Reply:

Dear Amy,

I have copies of three (3) correspondences from you.  The billing address is not the shipping address and you requested that I send it to Shimon Presents, Attn:  Seth Weiner at 471 Glen Iris Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA  49629-9752.  I followed your instructions and therefore it is not the responsibility of What a Stitch Embroidery to refund you for your towels or the shipping.  I apologize that you were not able to use them but I rushed and got this order done for you and shipped it out as requested.

Hi Tina,

Below is the instructional email that I sent you.  I also called after I sent the email to ensure that you received it and had the shipping address that is listed below.  I do not feel that it is fair to receive a full refund, as we have the product, but we did not have the towels to present to the winners in Jamaica and will now have to send them out, so I feel that a refund of the shipping price is fair.

We most definitely spoke about the shipping address, and as you can see, it is at the bottom of this email confirmation.

Thank you,

No other reply was ever received, and when I spoke to Tina on the phone she was rude and would not discuss the issue, but told me that she was not responsible for the email I had told her about during our first communication!!
