Whirlpool Duet washer started grinding so loud that you could hear it through out the entire house. I called for service, after 5 service calls they replaced the entire inside of the washer. The next day I washed clothes, the noise was still there. I called Whirlpool service again. I was told that the service dept. had to come out again. they did now they have to replace the motor. I asked about the lemon law, and if the washer could be replaced, I was told they had to keep trying to fix the washer. I would really like the washer replaced. Now that I am on my 8th service call.

After 10 service calls, Whirlpool finally replaced my washer. The first delivery date from Home Depot was 3/10/15. When the delivery guys showed up, because I had the Duet stacked they would not remove the dryer from the top of the washer to deliver the new washer and take the damaged washer with them. The delivery was rescheduled for Friday 3/13/15. I hired some guys to remove the dryer and place the washer in the garage. When the delivery guys came this time, I asked if they would be hooking the washer up? The delivery guy stated he delivers only. My husband hooked the washer up, I put a load of laundry in, and what happened? I had to call for service. The service tech. came today 3/19/15. The hose inside of the washer was not connected to the washer casing. I think I am going to give up on Whirlpool.
