My Whirlpool water heater model # BFG1F3030T3N0HV had a bent leg and was missing a door. They said they could have someone come out and fix it but after 2 months of going back and forth with them they tell me it is not covered in the warranty and refuse to help. Now I find out that the water heater was sold after the law changed and was not legal to install in my area in the first place and no licensed repair man will reinstall it. Do not buy Whirlpool products and do not waist your money on warranties on their products. They do not honor them or back up the quality of their products. Their customer service is also very bad. They leave you on hold for long periods of time "researching your problem," then come up with all different reasons that they won't help you. They do not take note of the problem either so you have to constantly repeat yourself every time you speak to someone new. If you ask to speak to a supervisor they tell you they will call you back; do not expect a call back because it did not come for me.
