Complaint Review: Whisper Woods Estates

***Be careful ...I suggest **Do Not Move In A Place Like This you can NOT TRUST this PEOPLE **.I had just put an application on 3 days ago (Saturday) I had explain that I have a special need child and I have been staying in an extended hotel for the past month and the manager had told me that i could move in by july 22 and that they had various unit available and by doing so i will pay $199 and i could take advantage of the special starting the month which is $299. for Aug...so I put the application because i am not in a possition on just giving away money if i can't move by the 22nd. This manager contradicts himself over and over. I stopped by on Monday to give then some proof of income I tried to speak to him and he was in a rush because he had an appt,( I said: I understood), he said : will call me that afternoon but did not. I went next day (tuesday) manager was not there when i got there but talked to the other leasing consultant and I was told i was approved but they need it a letter from my husband job, (no problem) sooo... they fax it , great the girl tells me all i need to bring (dep + $199 she told me there was 2 unit left so i wanted to pick...well...NO...the manager steps in pull her outside and when he comes back in I tried to speak to him about the unit and he said: your paperwork is not done yet; i said: Sir, I was told it was....and then it started the attitude..That he was the manager and he has not finish approving it and sooo I asked about the moving on the 22nd he said that it was NOT going to happen that he had a lot of people moving in and I had to move on the 29 and still pay $199...(not even pro-rated since it was their fault) I even remind him that i awas staying in an extended hotel, his answer was: I Don't CARE ..Hmmmm he told me before i applied to put the application and only 1 person had applied that friday afternoon and i showed up next day morning nobody was there i was the 1st one to apply that day and now he is telling me he had a lot of applications and he is moving people in?...looks like this man likes to get application fees (nice way of steeling money $70. i paid total for me and husband) Then he got upset and because i was asking all this question and he is trying to avoid them and telling me that i needed to leave so he can take care of other people in the lobby (again avoiding me) he threaten me of moving me in a day latter than the 29...lol...OMG.. ridiculous..Soo I told him that I will move then on the 1st of the month ..well he said that I will have to pay for another application fee (WOW) and pay for the FULL month of August. The lady that approves the app. came out of her office with an attitude and started telling the manager that if he couldn't get what he wanted then he needed to just not continue because obviously the relationship started wrong...WHAT???.(very unprofessionally) This people are racist they where getting other applicants ahead of me because they where black...I am a Hispanic from Puerto Rico and i am not racist at all....I have black in me and my father was dark too soo I am not just making this up.
