Odette Kahawajian decieved me by having her husband (jewler) produce for me an 18k White gold diamond watch. I paid $14,000 cash to her and my watch is valued at $350.00 She told me that the watch was solid 18k white gold. I was devasted when told that my watch is in fact metal. I spoke to Odette's Husband Derano and he told me to bring the watch in and that I could get a full refund.

When I called to set up a time to bring my watch back I got the run around and was sent a text message from Odette for me to speak to her attorney which is her brothers friend. I filed a report with the BBB soon after and Odette (owner) avoided all attempts to resolve this issue by paying me back my $14,000.00 I called her attorney and he was rude and clueless as to why I was calling. I purchased several pieces of Jewlery from White Diamond Jewerlers and overpaid by 80% some of the rings, I purchased were fake. One inparticular was custom made and I was told the diamonds were champange diamonds when in fact they were plastic.

Have you ever heard that maxim? Shame more on you for handing over THOUSANDS in cash to a store rated only a D by the BBB.

That D pretty much means they couldn't give a hoot what the BBB requests of them, maybe just enough to avoid an outright F rating. To do that they probably respond to the less costly complaints, enough to secure at least a D. To anyone foolish enough to hand them what you did, they'll tell the BBB to tell you to fly into a mountainside.

How do you not do even a cursory check on a store before spending that kind of cash.

When someone throws that kind of cash around so carelessly I tend to wonder about its origins.
