I was told that this puppy was the last one Elizabeth Fouts had left and had originally planned on keeping it herself, but that she just couldn’t do it. We agreed upon a price of $900. She told me that I would need to send a deposit of $450 to hold the puppy. When I began to press about the best time to pick the puppy up, Elizabeth became non responsive to phone calls and text messages. All communication was done through text message, so I have everything in writing.

Elizabeth Fouts did end up delivering the puppy.  He is very sweet and was in great health.  She says she was out of town for a period of time and was not able to answer her phone.  She also said she was anxious about setting a time/location for pickup due to her being out of town.  While it was VERY disconcerting to not have a time/location for pickup and were getting so close to the pickup time, we do love our puppy and are happy with the end result.
