Complaint Review: Whites Auto Sales

I purchased a vehicle from Whites Auto sales and delt directly with the owner. The man sold me the car it was 5000 dollar car and I paid cash. He told me it would be a great car and the normal crap the car dealers give you. However he failed to tell me that he didn;t have the title to the vehicle and that Franchies Auto Sales actually had the title.

When I found this out i complained and complained he just kept giving me 45 day registration stickers. after about 6 months of this I really got upset as i had nothing but problems with the vehicle and yet still no title so i couldn;t even trade it in. He told me he would get it to me by the end of the week well the end of the week never came.

I called frenchies who actually had the title for the vehicle and they gave me the biggest run around possible ( another Ripoff Car Dealership ) . After we went round for round trying to to get the title i ended up taking him to small claims court to get some of my money back or the title.

He shows up with a high priced lawyer and weesels his way out of it. He for some reason didn't have the title the day before court when i talked to him but miraculously brought the title to court with him. So now i am out my court fees and all when he could have gave me the title in the beginning and saved all these problems.

I did however report him to the Department Of Motor Vehicles and he was fined apparently this was not the first person he had done this to and i am sure i will not be the last
