PLEASE: AVOID BEING THEIR "NEXT VICTIM" ----

1) I signed up with the Whitney Education Group seminar ("Teach me to Trade" class) held 10/14/2004 at the Holiday Inn on Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, seminar scheduled for Nov 14-16, 2003. At sign up I stated that I wasn't sure the dates were good for me. When inquirying on the refund policy, salesperson told me that if I couldn't attend this seminar I could: a) Reschedule, or b) Request a full refund before the 11/14 class start date.

I wrote down the policy relayed to me on my copy of agreement. Agreement states may cancel prior to 3rd business day, see attached notice (no notice form was included), only my yellow signed copy which I have in hand. I called the Whitney Education Group (1-800-741-7877) on 10-16-2003 and cancelled the seminar. Agent took information for cancellation and said he would process the credit for the $ 1,995.00 charge.

2) Sent an email on Nov 9, 2003 prior to the class start date to Customerservice@russwhitney.com to again reconfirm cancellation of the upcoming class scheduled Nov 14-16. I never received a response or return correspondence.

3) After months of numerous calls and emails, this company refuses to give me a credit for registration. They have 130 COMPLAINTS logged at the Better Business Bureau complaint site online for REFUND DISPUTES, SALES PRACTICES, AND UNSATISFACTORY BUSINESS PERFORMANCE.

PLEASE: DO NOT BE THEIR 'NEXT VICTIM'.
