Who's Who In Middle School, KGLA Publications Tried to get money, ripoff Cannon Georgia
I received a letter in the mail stating my daughter was selected in Who's Who and I was going to send it in. I decided to check the web site out first and also asked my neighbor, who is secretary at the school my daughter attends. She had never heard of it and told me to check it out. I got on the site and then I couldn't get back on it.
I ran a search and saw the site that a lady had reported losting money to a company that was so fimialar to this one. I had to write this in hope that other people will not send them money.
I do believe this is the same people, signed by Ann Grace, Publisher. Please everybody check this out before you send any money in, the school has not heard of this company at all.

I would like to start by saying that the person that wrote this report is not one of our customers and she obviously didn't check us out before she made the statements she did. KGLA Publications, Inc. is a legitimate company that recognizes Middle School Students around the Nation. The great thing about being recognized in Who's Who Among Outstanding Middle School Students, is that students are getting the chance to put in biography form, all the activities and awards they have participated in and earned over the past few years. It serves as a great keepsake, one which students will be able to look back on years from now and recall their middle school years. There is no cost for being listed in the book and it is a great honor, one which to be very proud of. We offer parents the opportunity, if they desire to purchase a copy of the book but it is not mandatory to be listed. Students can be nominated by a teacher, coach, youth leader, parent etc. or we may have received their name from our commercial list supplier. We then send them an invitation and application. Eligibility in the book is determined by the information provided to us from the parent and student on the Biographical Data Form/Application. Just because a student recieves an invitition does not automatically make them eligible. We invite you all to come to our website and check us out or just give us a call. We are a great company with a great mission and that is to recognize today's youth who put forth the extra effort to succeed in the world today. Middle School Students are under a tremendous amount of pressure socially and academically and we believe that giving these deserving students positive reinforcment now, teaches them that hard work really does pay off.
