WHOLE FOODS MARKET DOES NOT PAY FOR COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION WORK AT BOULDER LOCATION Boulder, Colorado

A number of local subcontractors were hired by a General Contractor to complete remodeling and renovation services for the Whole Foods Market in Boulder, Colorado.

The work started in April, 2010 and monthly billings were submitted for payment (which is normally a 30 to 40 day payment cycle).  As of July 19,2010 the subcontractors have not been paid on this project.

According to the General Contractor, Whole Foods Market somehow has a delay in issuing payments to the subcontractors and no one at the Whole Foods corporate office can tell us when we might be paid.

So, if we go to buy products from the Whole Foods store, can we pay in 90 plus days and just walk out the door?  Unbelievable that in these tough economic times, a supposedly great company like Whole Foods cannot pay for its construction work in a timely manner.

The subcont'ractors have refused to come back to the construction site until we have been paid in full.  This does not pay our bills, but maybe someone will pay attention to the issues and get us paid.  WE SAY - DON'T SHOP AT WHOLE FOODS, THEY ARE JUST LIKE THE REST OF CORPORATE AMERICA.

WHOLE FOODS - PLEASE PAY YOUR SUBCONTRACTORS FOR THE WORK COMPLETED AT THE BOULDER STORE!!
