I received letters for each of my boys saying they'd been nominated for being exceptional students. Since they are, I believed it was legitimate - and ultimately ordered a hard bound book - seeing that both boys names and biographies would be included. I wanted a nice keepsake.

I paid in June of 2009 - and received confirmation saying order had been received and the publications were being sent to print and would deliver late December or early January.

In February of 2010 - I called and reached a live person who stated there had been a delay but my book would be going out within a week.

It is now March, and I've left two messages on their voicemail with ZERO response. I emailed but have heard nothing.

I visited their website, and got the following message:

Due to the current economic conditions that persist today, AWWA has ceased operations. We are working to fulfill all outstanding orders at this time. Please check our website periodically for further updates.

While I understand all that - where does that leave us, the consumer?? I'm furious that I have received no response. I feel totally scammed and just want my book or a refund.
