I have been looking for supplimental income by way of a work at home job for a while.  I posted my information on TheJobPlanet.com and was contacted by Ron Davis to set up a briefing/interview with a second person.

I interviewed and was hired by Jeanny Mac via Yahoo IM and she represented herself as a hiring manager for Whydowork.com.  My hire rate was to be $25 an hour which I thought was great until I was informed that I would have to purchase $200 worth of software from venders that work with the company.  This would of course be reimbursed with my first paycheck from the company.  At this point a SCAM warning went off in my head.

I decided to hear out the rest of the pitch, because in some instances, I can see the reason for the purchase of materials to be able to be productive at home.  The SCAM alarm went off when I was not be given any access to my supposed employing company until after I had purchsed said software.

Needless to say, I don't think that I have a job because I will not pay $200 for software before I know that I actually have a job, that is filling out contracts/hire forms.
