To whom it may concern, I went into one of Sears stores in Bellevue, NE to purchase a lawn tractor and in the process was told about your lease program, however the lease program was not fully described to us until we had put $931 down and only after doing so did we see how outrageous leasing the tractor would be. So we had the clerk void the lease and wrote a check for the purchase of the tractor. We called Whynotleaseit to see why the purchase was pending on our account while at the store and I was told by the customer service representative it was only pending for 24 to 48 hours. Luckily my wife checked our account because the pending charge was no longer pending it was now an electronic transfer to Whynotleaseit. I then called them that evening and was told it would take 7 to 10 business days to refund via a check. It has now been 3 weeks since this has happened and I have been told it was sent to accounting on July 1st and then I was told it was submitted and refund should be here by today and when I checked the mail today to find it still had not been received; I called once again to only be told the check has not been cut as the accounting department is behind and I could wait another 7 to 10 business days. I was told they are sorry for any inconvenience to just bear with them.
