Complaint Review: Wichita Health & Wellness

I started a weight loss program with this company. One of the doctors that was running the company was charged with fraud and had to surrender his chiropractic license. After this happened, their facebook administer who runs their facebook profile page announced that they would be closing due to new managment and provided contact information to all current clientelle to coorospond with to receive a refund for any unrendered services.

The Refund was supposed to be paid in full for the amount paid and they would honor the promotional prices that were given to any clientelle when they signed up for their programs if there was any at that point in time. I coorosponded with the email address provided that was supposed to have been hired by the doctor that had fraudulent charges against him to take care of the refund process for the clientelle. I was told that my refund request was accepted and approved and that it would take 2-4 weeks to receive a check from them for the amount paid.

I never received a check in the mail from them for the amount. I tried to contact the doctor that I knew was in charge via facebook and never received a response. I also tried to contact the company via phone with the phone number provided and never had a response, and via email with the email address provided to take care of the refund with no response as well.

I know several other clients have also not received a refund from this business because they were posting on the facebook page asking for updates on where their refunds were and soon after the administrater of the facebook page for the business deleted their profile that was linked to their business website.
