I placed an order with Widgetlove.com for a Makeup Brush set on September 8th through livingsocial.com, I still have not received my merchandised. I have called twice and emailed twice in regards to my merchandise and no one from the company has responded. This is appearing to be a TOTAL RIP-OFF, I too, starting tomorrow, will be trying to get my money back. This is insane that it is taking almost a month, or maybe even never, to recieve my merchandise

I have had the same issue with widget love! I too ordered the makeup brushes and have been waiting for delivery. I have left two voice messages and sent two emails.... With no response!

However, good luck getting a refund from LS! My friend had purchased massage vouchers through LS several months ago. She wanted to take me for a birthday present. She attempted to schedule with the business for two months and was unable to do so.... The website said to call to schedule, the voice message said to go online to schedule. Finally, the website changed and allowed for scheduling online BUT you had to provide your credit card number EVEN though you had already paid through LS! My friend contacted LS customer service and was told that refunds are only given within a week (maybe less, if my memory serves me correctly). Since she had made the purchase months before, and even though she had attempted to schedule with the vendor for months she was not given a refund! Additionally, LS LIED by placing her on hold and 'contacted the vendor' and then said that the vendor was 'willing to work with her to schedule.' The business was CLOSED on that day! I called the vendor moments later and left a message asking to be contacted to schedule an appointment as i was not willing to provide credit card information for a service that had already been paid for in full. I rceived a voice response (no call back- a response to my voice mail- passive aggressive!) and was told by the vendor to contact LS for a refund.

I never plan to do business with living social or widget love ever again! I have been spreading word of my experiences to all that i know also. Living social markets and makes money on partnerships with fraudulent businesses. I believe they should vett all companies they chose to partner with. I made this suggestion in a long email to living social. However, they will keep on operating as they have been, all while making money off of our purchases that are never honored! Spread the word!
