I, James W, called Wild Cherry RV Resort in April 2017, to get information about booking a family reunion in August of 2017, at that resort. I booked 5 RV sites, sites 59 through 63 at a price of $350.00. The owner, Jim, asked me what size camping eqipment was going on those sites. I told him, 1 32' 5th wheel, 1 32' trave l trailer, 1" popup" and I didn't know what was going on the last two. His reply was, no problem, we can let him know later. I asked they had bathroom and shower facilities and he assured me they did. Two months before we got there, my son-in-law, Kenneth G Sr., called Wild Cherry RV Resort and specifically asked if tents could go on those two other sites. He was told, and I dont know by who, that there was no problem putting them there. He was driving 5 hours to get there and he wanted to make sure he could use those sites because some campgrounds have specific sites for tents. One month before we got there, my granddaughter called and asked me to reserve a campsite for here, which I did. They charged me full price of $140.00 at that time to reserve a campsite which I paid. So, August 17, I called and asked if my RV could come in the night before. They checked and said we could. So I brought my 32' 5th wheel in the night before.

The next morning one son arrived with the popup and we set him up and then my other son came in with his 32' travel trailer and we set him up. At 4:30 my daughter called me, crying, because they just drove 5 hours with 4 adults and 6 grandchildren, and the park refused to let them put tents on sites 59 and 60. I went up to find out what the problem was and the owner said he would not allow them to put tents on those rv sites. My son-in-law and I both said we called in advance to make sure we could camp on them. His reply was that that never happened, we were lying. I asked him what was the difference between a popup and those sites compared to a tent in those sites, and his reply was" because I'm the owner and I won't allow it. We asked him about his bathroom and shower facilities and he showed us a port-a-potty for the bathroom and a 6' by 6' tent for showering in. So we informed him we were going to try and find someplace else to camp and he became furious.

So my son-in-law and daughter left to camp someplace else after driving 5 hours and now had to drive 3 more to another campground that was gracious enough to accommodate us all. So now, the owner tells us he wants us, us being the 3 sites all set up, that he wants us off his property. We asked how much of our deposit we were getting back and he said none! So, being that our kids were so tired, because now it's 6 in the evening, we told him we were all set up so we were staying the night. He started screaming at us to get off his property, we were trespassing, or he was calling the police. We said call them and went back to our campsite.About a half hour later a State Police cruiser arrived and came down to our sites. We informed him what was going on, and we were only staying the night because our kids were so tired, and faithfully, we would leave in the morning. He said we could stay. So we did.

The following morning, my first son gets up at 7 and starts packing. My second son and I got up at 8 and started packing, all with the intention of leaving by 10 that morning. Check out time was 12 so we were leaving well early of that. At 5 minutes to 9 the owner pulls up in front of my site, gets out of his car, and runs up to me screaming that the cops said we were leaving at 8 and we have 5 minutes to get off his property or he's calling the police. I assured him we were leaving as soon as we all got packed up and he can call the police again since it did so much good the night before. No police ever showed up. So At 9:45 we left the park, making sure the sites were absolutely spotless.
