WildAboutMovies Reneges on prizes and won't reply to emails ripoff internet
This company promises many prizes but most people never get them. I won a DVD in October 2005 and have tried for months to get them to send it but they won't even answer emails from me. A couple of times I got terse replies demanding proof that I won and I forwarded the winner's email I received but still nothing.
There is only one contact email address and the name Tim Nasson on the site and no other way to reach them. I tried contacting them through the company listed at register.com under their name and that brought a reply with a demand for more info, which I again sent.
Financially this is not a big deal and my life doesn't depend on it, but I know many others who are in the same situation with them. A lot of us are elderly and disabled and can use any help we can get financially. I have 10 small grandchildren and it would have been nice to have the DVD (Cinderella) to share with them.
