Mis-led by advertizing options/features that the vehicle/vehicles did not have. Such as: leather seats, power moon roof, fog light, alloy wheels. We drove from 50 miles away. We printed and brought with the pages from their web-site and showed them to Terry Dies. He said that meant that those were all the options available in 2006 when you could of ordered the vehicle. He was either mis-informed or lying. It's not what their add said. This was the same on all three vehicles we were interested in. They knew we lived in Illinios when we called about these vehicles and let us come anyway. They quickly asked us what options we were interested in and would find the right one. Bottom line,,, bait-and-switch.

Wilde not the dealer they used to be

Sorry that you got the run-around by Wilde. They may be the largest Toyota dealer in the MKE area, and they used to have a good reputation. But they have gotten worse over the last several years and now operate with some shady and marginally-professional sales staff.

For instance, my wife and I were looking for a late-model Highlander last year and went to Wilde. Instead of showing us their inventory, our chain-smoking used sales jockey kept strolling us past Rav4's and pointing out their features. When we asked where the Highlanders were, he said that "most families were looking at Rav4's" and that "most sales guy's wives wanted Rav4's." WTF, did I ask to see the Rav4? No.

Then he handed us off to a new sales guy with a cornflower blue shirt and bloody razor bumps. He took us into the showroom and suggested we'd be happier with a 2008 Highlander (new body style, larger, much higher price). Again, did I ask about the new Highlanders that were selling for a hair below MSRP and had a two-month waiting list? No.

Moral of the story, look at the other Toyota dealers in the area. Heiser has good inventory but has pushy sales & 'finance' staff. Or, since you're driving up from IL, there are plenty of decent dealers in your state.

Finally, KARL, what's your issue? Lighten up Francis, your incoherent rants on RipOffReport are not going to assist in your total world domination of Toyota Motor Car Corp. Maybe a nice trip to the pharmacy is in order.

Clifford, YOUR LIFE COULD BE IN DANGER because there are Toyota owners whose AIRBAGS are NOT DEPLOYING when they are in accidents! 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems and read all of them! You DO have a Toyota now, right?

Clifford, 'Google' this- SUIT: DEFECT REPORTS ALTERED TOYOTA PLANT, and scroll down to the Lawsuit against a Toyota & GM plant where Katy Cameron, an auditor with Toyota, blew the whistle, on DEFECT REPORTS that were being ALTERED at that plant! This means that FAULTY PARTS were being put into Toyota vehicles, just like YOURS, correct? You DID buy a Toyota, right?

Clifford, I want you to be SAFE in 2009 & beyond! Your Toyota's AIRBAGS could be DEFECTIVE! Clifford, you WON'T KNOW until you're in an accident, correct? It COULD be too late then, woulldn't you agree?

PLEASE DO SOMETHING NOW before it's TOO LATE!!!!! Clifford, we all want you safe & sound in 2009 & beyond!

Clifford, If you bought a Sequoia, please 'Google' this- YOUTUBE TOYOTA SEQUOIA DEFECT, and watch the video of a Sequoia that flipped over on I-95 due to a DEFECTIVE PART, just like the ones Katy Cameron was advising her bosses about, but they IGNORED her warnings!!!!!

Clifford, If you bought a Corolla, 'Google' this- BUY A COROLLA GET BURNED LITERALLY, and read how Mr. Singh burned to death in his Toyota Corolla!

CLIFFORD, we want you SAFE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, CLIFFORD!

After shopping for cars for several months I decided to buy a Toyota. Among many other things, I decided that if a rabid wacko like Karl comes up with these silly poems and ridiculous warnings full of exclamation points, they must be doing something right.

Give it a rest, you're wasting your time and ours.

Pathetic.
