I purchased a sign at the Dundalk, Maryland Heritage Fair in July of 2011 from WB Sign Studio. They told us that the sign would be ready in 6-8 weeks. It has now been over 6 months and we still don't have the sign. We have contacted them via email several times and were given all kinds of excuses, stringing us along until we finally got tired of waiting and requested a refund and have not heard anything back since.
This man and woman team seem very legitimate, displaying many very nice carved and painted signs, with printed receipts on a pad, and the woman was painting a sign while we discussed our custom order with the man.
Today we contacted our bank regarding the returned check that we gave him at the time of the purchase. It had been stamped with "Wildflowers and Bugs L.L.C." and was cashed at Power Federal Credit Union in Syracuse, New York. We also did a google search for wildflowers and bugs syracuse and were horrified to discover that he and his wife have been ripping a lot of people off all over the east coast and midwest.
I am going to contact the people in charge of the venders for the Dundalk Heritage Fair, and hopefully they will be banned here. This guy must be making a pretty handsome living ripping people off. Something must be done to shut them down once and for all. I am willing testify, or do whatever else is needed to stop these con artists.
