On 14 November 2010 while attending an arts and crafts festival in Doswell VA I came upon Mr. George Kises booth called Wildflowers and Bugs. His display consisted of well constructed custom made outdoor yard signs. I was pleased with the quality of what I saw on display and entered into an agreement to purchase a custom made sign with our horse farm name and logo for the amount of $200.34 (tax included) When I asked to pay with credit card his reply was he did not have credit card machine handy however a personal check would be fine. I wrote a check handed it to him and confirmed with him the time frame for completion. Once home I exchanged a few emails regarding exchange of logo and colors for his design. He mentioned at the fair that he had many outstanding orders and he would not be able to start work on the sign until after the new year. When asked how much "after the new year" he said January. In January I began to email him regarding progress of my sign and when I could expect it. No reply. I have left numerous messages on the number on the invoice .. No Reply. I have since googled him only to discover that he has traveled across the eastern seaboard collecting money and not delivering the promised goods. My check to him cleared his bank on 15 November 2010. I have not heard from Mr. Kise despite numerous attempts to reach him. In essence he has stolen my money and I am without my ordered sign. I also see that previous complaints have been filed with the BBB and the only comments are that there has been no resolution. I am a widow of an active duty serviceman who died in Iraq in 2007. I have a son who is currently in Afghanistan and I am forever spouting the gift of living in a country blessed with justice. Please take the time to review this case. That $200.34 equals three days wages for me. I have hung onto my farm since my husbands passing. I cannot afford to be cheated out of any more.
