I ordered a couple of "I Love Lucy" items from them on 12/02/2002. They charged my credit card on 12/03/2002. I received nothing and, after ensuring that there was nothing at my local post office, I emailed Wildflowerstrading.com and received the following automated reply on 12/18/2002:

"This is an automated response to let you know that we received your message. Due to the high volume of email that we receive at this time of year, it is not possible for us to respond to every message as quickly as wed like. Please review this email, as it may contain the answer to your question.

If you placed an order with us via our website on or after December 15, you will probably not receive it before Christmas. Rush processing and overnight shipping is not available.

If you placed an order prior to December 15, we will do our best to get it to you before Christmas, however due to the large volume of orders we are processing and the relative slowness of the Postal system at this time of year, we cant guarantee that you will receive your items before Christmas.

If you with to return an item, please contact us at returns@wildflowerstrading.com. Please provide the full name the order was placed under as well as the approximate date it was placed. It is also helpful if you can include the order number, but we can process your return request without it. Let us know which item you wish to return and the reason for the return. You will receive an automated response with instructions for returning the item.

If you need to cancel an order, please email us at cancel@wildflowerstrading.com. Please provide the full name the order was placed under as well as the approximate date it was placed. It is also helpful if you can include the order number, but we can process your cancellation request without it.

The above email addresses are for returns/cancellations only. Other inquiries sent to those addresses will not be answered.

Thank you,

The Wildflowers Trading Company"

Every subsequent email to them (9 of them altogether) was met with the same automated reply. It is now 01/11/2003 and I still have not received my merchandise. I used the cancel@wildflowerstrading.com email address to cancel my order (and have received no reply from that email) and have begun the process with my credit card company to reverse the charge that Wildflowers Trading Company stuck on my card. I also intend to file a complaint with the Iowa Attorney General's office.

Please, please, please do not confuse the villainous "Wildflowers (with an "s") Trading Company" with "Wildflower (no "s") Trading Company" which sells seeds and was very nice to me when I found their phone number and called them.

I hope that Wildflowers Trading Company gets what is due to them.

If you need further info for your complaint I will give you what I can here. The auto-resonse email didn't begin until December. Prior to that we recieved no response from our emails to Wildflowers customer service.

Following alot of complaints to some of their suppliers, like Liquid Blue (t-shirts), and the complaints were fowarded to Wildflowers, the auto-response suddenly appeared.

On Ebay, Wildflowers were fulfilling customer's orders, then stopped doing so, and negative feedback began coming in. Their Ebay ID is grateful_dead_shop. PayPal, an Ebay company, suspended Wildflowers' account, and Ebay may have suspended their seller status, as WTC is no longer selling on Ebay.

I figure they were selling the last of their stock on Ebay, but continued to take credit card funds, checks and money orders from website customers, and may have sold items on Ebay that they no longer had.
