I ordered a video tape called "Demystifying The Devil" from the website http://www.mansonvideo.com on Jan 3, 1999.

After waiting a couple of months I contacted the company and received an email response on March 23rd that said it would arrive in 5-7 days. Then on March 28th another email said that the release of the video had been delayed and that my credit card would not be charged, but it already had.

In April I got an email that orders would be refunded and on April 23, 1999 I was emailed a receipt for a refund. The refund never showed up on my credit card account.

When I emailed the company Mr. Will Raee finally responded in June with simply, "Please contact your credit card company and inform them of this error. After they refund you order the video."

Because the refund occurred so long after the original purchase, my time to dispute the transaction with my credit card company closed.

My credit card company said they would honor the refund if they could get a receipt for the refund from the company. After several attempts to contact the company be email went unanswered, I wrote a letter. Mr Raee called me and said he would send out the new receipt. I waited 2 weeks and never recived it.

I emailed him and on Dec 7, 1999 he claimed he sent it himself the same day he spoke to me, and said if I gave him the address again he would send it. I did, and needless to say I sent 4 more emails that went unanswered until I threatened to take him to court, to which he replied "Good! You do that."

I reported Rock Docs to the Better Business Bureau and of course the company never responded to the complaint. Next I contacted the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and was told the company was no longer at the address and had no forwarding address.

I searched who owned the domain name of the website I ordered from and found numerous addresses and companies listed under Mr. Raee's name. I forwarded the information to the Postal Service and they received no response to the complaint either.
Mr. Raee's current company is called TVX http://www.tvx.com

Please be alert for anything with either his, or his company's name in it and do not purchase anything that will support this liar and fraud.

Mr. Raee displays his true personality.

#5Author of original report

As a final note on this issue I am submitting evidence of the true personality of Mr. Raee displayed by his own words.

On 12/28/04 Mr. Raee responded to my email regarding truth of the events with the reply, "I think I'm in love with you." A thoroughly creepy comment to say the least.

Later, on 7/13/05 I received an unsolicited email from him. The content of the email is copied below (specific identifying information has been removed so as not to further promote Mr. Raee or his work):

"How are you? I just wanted to tell you to watch my new series on xxxx. I actually got the job as Producer because of you! Thanks to your rip-off report an old friend found me and my company on it, and through that person I met the xxxx executive who green-lit my show. So thank you! Here is a link to the show. I'm so glad I ripped you off now.

Need I say more?

Once again backed out on promise he then sent additional emails stating he would not pay me unless I removed his name

Although Mr. Raee contacted me and asked if I had a Paypal account to reimburse me, he then sent additional emails stating he would not pay me unless I removed his name. Out of good faith I posted the update indicating he had agreed to pay and to date it has not happened. Through the course of this situation he has appealed to me repeatedly that he is an honest person but his actions and questionable comments in emails indicate otherwise. At this point I am not concerned about being reimbursed, but am satisfied with the information about his actions being posted online.

Mr. Raee has offered to reimburse me personally

I never expected to receive any response to my original report but came across this site recently and out of curiosity checked to see if anything had happened. Will Raee, the person named in the original report who had been my main contact involved in the dispute, filed a rebuttal in which he offered to pay the disputed amount out of his own pocket. I contacted Mr. Raee and provided copies of all emails from the dispute that outlined the events. Mr. Raee now says he will follow through with his offer to reimburse me, a fact I greatly appreciate given the length of time this matter has gone on. I am grateful to have this issue finally settled.

This was a $19.95 video that we did send out.

I'm Will Raee, and I must say that this incident did not occur as stated. We did send this person a video. It got returned to us with a "return to sender" stamp. We tried one more time, and got the same result. When I did her e-mail, I did offer to send the video to the correct address, but she refused and just wanted her money back. I told her she would have to go through the credit card company since I was no longer involved with this product. I never heard from her again. If I had know she never got a refund I would have sent her the money personally. I still would, even though I may have made a whopping three dollars from the sale. No one should get ripped-off like that.

Please don't spread lies and try to make me into a bad person. People who know me know that I'm generous and try to help others any chance I get. Please don't exaggerate and say that I said, "good you do that," when you said you would sue me. I never said that.

If this were something that happened to more than one person I could see you posting this, but thousands of people received their videos with no problem. With that said, I would still make it up to you by sending you the $19.95 from my own pocket.

Do you really think I avoided you through all these companies for three dollars? The funny thing is that you think that these are all my companies. The reality is, I like most people, have taken positions as my career has progressed. I know, real sneaky of me, having a career, huh. Anyway, I told you what I would do for you. So, if you're interested you know how to reach me, even though you claim everyone else can't. The info is right here on this web site. In addition, I believe that this web site is very irresponsible in not verifying this false claim before posting this slanderous and liable report. Furthermore, I DO NOT ATTEST to this report as being valid. You claim to be civil rights activist yet you slander people's names and reputation without cause. It seems anyone can just make up a story and you will post it causing more victims. Why not verify or contact the individual before posting someone's false claims against them? Without verification your website seems to be a highly unreliable source for consumer fraud. And, that's worth doing a story on.

Sincerely,

Producer
