Complaint Review: Willi's Best Guide Medellin

As posted on internationalsexguide.info Colombia Medellin section A month of adventure in Medellin, chica reviews and recommending a guide I just got back last week from a month in Medellin, wow what an adventure. And for as long as I was there, I still didn't do everything the city has to offer!

Finally got caught up on work here at home, so lets get into the report, starting with the guides. I highly recommend you do this. Your trip will not be the same without one. Ever since Rio, its the only way I'll roll. (and I now that I know better, I wish I did this in Buenos Aires. Go to that forum to witness my struggles and shenanigans HAHA).

You can check my review on Cali and see what I went through over there before I found a reputable contact. Much of the same first happened here in Medellin with the first driver / guide I met. I met him through the apartment company (same company as in Cali too), as they used him as transportation from the airport. Not only was he more expensive, he was not responsive or responsible. And his intel was garbage. The guy's name is Andre and he is a "kid guide". If you want to stay away from him, PM and I'll give you more details. I not only needed help with chicas, I needed help with my dj controller which was damaged during the flight! It was making a very annoying screeching noise through my speakers and it was killing me. What the hell was I going to do? Even if I could find a place to help, how was I going to get there? This had me looking.

So I went through the guide section of WorldTraveler69's map / list looking for help and started texting it down at random. You know what they say, when the student is ready the master will appear. William, (the best d**n guide in Medellin) was the first to text me back!

I explained my predicament and he assured me he could help. When we met at the arranged time, he was inviting, friendly, confident, and with a good, clean, reliable vehicle. I let him know how I found him and that, yes chicas were on the agenda, but there are more pressing concerns at the moment. Willi hadn't encountered anything like this before and saw it as a challenge! Such an incredible wealth of knowledge about this city (and flora / fauna / Colombia in general, it's encyclopedic). He took me to a repair shop, and stayed with me the entire afternoon until the repair was completed (and yes it was a Repair, not a Replace). I had a little bucket list of mine for Medellin, he asked me about it and chuckled. I didn't know at the time, but every one of those was going to be accomplished before I left, thanks to Willi.

Willi knows Medellin like the back of his hand and he customizes every experience for your specific personal needs. He really reads his customers and gives them the best personal experience for them. He stays with you and makes sure you stay safe.

Don't want to just tour a coffee farm but was more interested in buying one? Have medical issues that you don't want to go into debt for? You wouldn't be Willi's first customer on either count. If you want to go fishing but aren't particularly athletic, no problem, he's going to money you up. Want to go birding into a corner of the country with river trails that take you across slippery rocks, knotted tree roots, and steep inclines, well out of reach of any other tour company and only where professional photographers would dare venture? He's your man. He's in his 50's and with a full pack he's still outpacing me! Oh BTW, he brought a bag so he could pick up other people's pollution and trash because he believes in leaving a place better than you found it. In addition to chicas and airport transfers, we went on a campfire hike and a city tour / real estate excursion. I used him for all of it, at this point I consider him a friend and I cannot recommend him enough.

Now on to the chicas.

The first place I went to was one of Willi's recommendations, a place called "Energy". Without him I would have never found it. It is beyond discreet, there's no signage. In a somewhat residential area, it looks like a regular building with a townhouse garage. Willi knows everyone there of course, and we parked right in the garage haha!

The girl I chose was Natalia, short, dark hair, sweet face / smile, she's all natural, in great shape, incredible warm personality / attitude, wonderful sense of humor, . In fact we enjoyed eachother so much we ended up seeing eachother every weekend I was there until I left, a total of 4 times. And we still talk.

The second place we went to was Lutron, and we went there twice on different occasions. There isn't much I am going to say about the place that hasn't been mentioned before. I saw Nicole and Celeste. They are both absolute stunners, the girls at that place are like models. The sex is absolutely great. Each girl does her own thing in her own way. I don't think its a ymmv, as much as it is that each experience is going to be its own thing. But the place has an odd sterility and coldness about it. Nobody is particularly friendly or warm over there, not even the staff. I love the facilities and the grounds through, very well built and located. If you want more details, just ask or PM.

Ok I'm going to to stop now because if I don't I am going to spiral into depression. I broke up with that girl I met in Cali a few days ago. It wasn't working out. I am a free man again, but I'm free in the empty wasteland of the united states. I hate the united states SO much. United flight 1031 is officially dubbed "the trail of tears".

He has good reviews for the normal touristy stuff but I would be interested in knowing how else he helped you with chicks besides taking you to two of the most well know casas in Medellin? Yes, he is the tour guide who helped me, the GOOD one, not the one you mentioned in your quote of my report. The chica help I listed is all we did because its all I wanted to do. Willi custom-tailors the experience for each client, so no two excursions are going to be exactly alike. He has such an encyclopedic knowledge, I would point at a random buildings or small houses while we were touring the city, and without missing a beat he would give me a storied history of the place. IMHO if you wanted something more underground or off the beaten path, he would be the first source to ask.

This may not have happened in this case because the guide seems to have been paid well. However I wouldn't be surprised if any guide decided to double dip a little. None of the casas asked me for anything. No surcharges or extras.

It seems unlikely, but if you are at all inclined to believe the malicious review about Willi's guide service, I encourage you to read the many rebuttals to that comment, as well as the numerous other reviews available online.  I have now been to Medellin three times. Due to a stellar recommendation from an expat friend of mine, I took a tour with really on my first trip. It was immediately obvious that Willi is in love with his country and the city of Medellin. After one tour, so was I. I have no visited twice more, touring with WillI each time. 

On our tours, We saw many national landmarks, authentic restaurants, quaint villages, and the like. Not once did Willi offer nor suggest any illicit activity. To the contrary, when I changed money at a questionable looking establishment,  Willi  made it abundantly clear that he abhors places that operate outside of the law, and he recommended that we change our money in banks or other established locations to avoid the possibility of money getting into the wrong hands.

When you take a tour outside of the city, you are placing a lot of trust in your guide. I would trust Willi with my closest loved ones. My name is Stephen Lezcano. You are welcome to find me online and ask me any question you'd like about Willi and his tours. 

To begin with I find the credibility of this rip-off report very questionable.   The author starts off by mentioning that he found Willi by perusing through an International Sex Guide forum yet when he hired Willi he claims to only be interested in real marriage and not any sort of sex tourism .......hmmm.

I understand everyone has their own experiences but after reading this report in particular it sounds like it's just a smear campaign against Willi.  Perhaps the author's love interest did not pan out and now he needed someone to blame for his pain.

My buddy and I had the pleasure of hiring Willi for our first trip to Colombia last month and my experience with Willi was totally opposite of what is claimed in this rip-off report.  We are a couple of young to middle aged guys and would be perfect candidates for Willi to push any kind of sex tourism service on.  Will never once mentioned any kind of sex tourism to us nor did he try sell or push any of the other listed services from the Author.  Willi was a real standup guy and in fact actually warned us and gave us pointers in what to avoid about women there that might try to scam us.  

Willi is an honest, hardworking, trustful guide that takes pride in his work and enjoys having satisfied customers.  We hired Willi for an entire week and never once did we hear about or have any questionable behavior from Willi.  In fact, there was one day we were on the road going out to Guatape with Willi and one of his former customers called him needing urgent assistance.  The guy rented an apartment through another site and got scammed and was stuck at the airport with nowhere to go.  Willi assured him he would help in any way he could and quickly went through several contacts until he found a place for this guy and then followed up to make sure the guy got there ok too.

I recently travelled to Medillin on vacation.  it's been my first international vacation in a long time.  I'm former USNavy, so I am use to being in other countries.

I was in Medillin the week of Oct 6th and it was a bit rainy to say the least.

Without Willie to take us through the city and narrate on so many topics of the past present and future of Medillin i would say our trip would have been unfulfilled. 

I've gained a boatload of knowledge and history and met so many great and down to earth people throughout the city and surronding places because of Willie and his willingness to insure we had the best time possible in the limited amount of time we were there.

My time and money are trully valuable to me and Both were well spent with Willie.  I have no idea why a person would type such a negative article.  Whereas my experience with Willie is drastically different than the guy who came looking for a wife i have to say his story sounds believable, but just not with Willie.  I have no doubt that you can be hustled in Medillin if you so choose that path.

My thing is, this is the type of behavior that Willie warned us about.  Women are all over the place and just like in any city, if you make a poor decision it can come back to bite you.  I wish the best for the Marriage guy, but i can not let him drag Willie through the mud.  I think he may have gotten into some trouble, but i believe the true blame lies elsewhere.

My advice is to take Willie up on his 10% Discount offer and find out for yourself!  There are many people back here in Houston Tx that have enjoyed my photos and stories of the time i had in Medillin Columbia.  Willie is now a household name amongst family and friends and any of them who wish to travel, will be calling him.

To tell you the truth I actually miss Willie....that's how much i enjoyed the places, food, the atmosphere and professionalism of the journey he took us on....Kudos Willie!!

I have to admit, I have been coming to Medellin for a while now for business. I have used Willi as a guide all but once. 

Whoever wrote this report either doesn't use the guy that is in the picture, or has a vendetta, or did not remotely experience the person that I did in this report. I have even met the man's family. 

What is odd about this report is the fact that you start out by saying that you read about him in an online sex guide, then say you were looking for marriage. I think there are many different ways to arrive at what you are trying to get at without going to an "international sex guide". 

My experience was that Willi is bilingual from having lived in the United States. I told him I would like to see Medellin (and I have), stay out of trouble (which I did), and avoid getting ripped off (which I also did). 

He NEVER made mention of a brothel or whorehouse. He mentioned a strip joint when I was sitting with a fellow gringo at a bar in parque lleras. And that is because the gringo directly asked about the name of one. 

He never boasted of having high profile attorneys, etc. as clients. In fact he asked me if I could give him advice on how certain things on web sites go over in North America (I am a Canadian but live in the States). 

I personally do not believe for a second the story of him going to a hotel room and then everything was missing. I met girls in Medellin. He did nothing but caution me on the possibilities of getting ripped off in the city and how careful I need to be. 

International Organ Transplant Agency? I am shocked that the ripoff report even now allows this after this ridiculous assertion. 

If you only had one interaction with Willi, then how do you list all these other things? 

I found him to be honest, hard working, and above all reliable. 

I don't believe this ripoff report for a second, and I have been a customer multiple times.
