I contacted Fuccillo Nissan regarding buying a car. I explained to them that I had be diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and that we needed a reliable car to get me back and forth to Moffitt Cancer at USF. they told me that they could help us and to come in and let them see what they had in stock. we stopped in the dealership last Wednesday, August 8th,and sat down with the sales manager Phil and our salesman Justin. Justin was the salesman they assigned to us and he showed us 3 cars.

We really liked the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder that Justin showed us. Then when we sat down with the sales manager and started going over the numbers. they started the paperwork and things quickly started going downhill. after we settled on the down payment that we would be paying, the finance manager stepped into the equation things got even worse!! he had an attitude from the get go! we ended up with a $7,000 down payment and a monthly payment of $584. which was still a bit higher than we had expected.

after about an hour, Ricky Rosado, the finance manager, and the sales manager, Phil came out and told us that we were "100% approved" they then asked for my credit card and asked for the down payment. they took my credit card and walked into the back. the finance manager came out and stated to us that "I am still working on getting you approved and that it would only be a few more minutes and he would have the deal all ready.”

at that point I became alarmed that the sales manager came out and said that they were still working on the deal and that they would have something worked out and told our sales person to take my credit card and get our down payment. I quickly jumped up and followed the sales person into the hallway and asked for my credit card back, that the sales manager and the finance manager said that they were still working on the financing. I demanded my credit card back!!

I went back out into the lobby and sat down with my partner and voiced my concern of why would they want the down payment if we were not yet approved! They then quickly changed their story. They told us that they would work on the deal and get back with us the next day. No one EVER called us from that dealership. And the calls that we made to them were Never returned!

Thursday, no calls. Friday, No call calls. We then contacted our sales person and inquired what was the hold up? He told us that they were waiting on a part and for us to give them time and someone would be contacting us. NO CALLS!! By Saturday, we went to the dealership and spoke to Billy Fuccillo and he assured us that the deal was approved and that the car would be ready for pick up on Monday. At that time, he asked us for the down payment.

I was reluctant to give them the whole $7,000, so Billy agreed that $1,000 would be sufficient to hold the car and that he personally would have the car ready for pick up on Monday. On Saturday evening we received a text from our sales person that THE CAR HAD BEEN SOLD!! We had a receipt with the stock number on it for the 2015 Pathfinder. He also stated in the text that they had another car that they would let us have but at a higher monthly price and less equiptment. This was unacceptable! Now they have my $1,000 and want to pull a bate and switch on us with another car! What a bunch of CRAP!

Is it not bad enough that I am having to deal with the cancer and treatment than to have to deal with this? Now its Sunday and they want us to come in and look at what they have. THIS WAS THE LAST CHANCE!!! As for Billy, the owner, says that he will give us a $200 gas card. What an insult!! This is a shame operation and they should not be allowed to treat people like this!

When we went into the dealership on Sunday, Billy Fuccillo told us that he would refund our $1,000 deposit to my Debit card. He went through the process of refunding my $1000 to my card. No refund was posted to my account on Sunday or Monday. Now Tuesday, they still haven’t refunded our money!

On Monday, we went to another dealership and purchased another car, with less money down and more features. I warn anyone reading this to RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION, and Not deal with Any of the Ficcillo dealerships!! If I had only read some of the comments that have been posted to Facebook and other sites I would have NEVER dealt with these Scam Artists!
