Complaint Review: William E. Miller

I sent Mr. Miller a Sharp microwave display board for repair after seeing his ad on the internet. For $39.95 he says he will repair the board and provide a 1 year warranty.



A few weeks after I sent off the board to Mr. Miller, it was returned and worked for about a month and then failed; missing display segments, the original problem.



I emailed him that the board had failed and he promptly responded to return the part for Rework.  I sent the board back to him about 6 weeks ago requesting the repair. 



I have emailed him requesting status of the repair and when the display will be returned. He has not responded.  I have called him and left messages, but he will return the calls. I have requested that the board be returned even if not repaired. Still no response.



Clearly, this guy is not interested in providing customer service. I've spent $40.00 for the repair and $20.00 for shipping. Now I need another display board if I can find one. 



Mr. Miller is at best an extremely poor business operator or at worse a thief and a liar.

Two days ago Mr.Miller emailed me stating that the board had been repaired and shipped. Later that day I received an email from the USPS with a tracking number. So far so good. 


Today I received the board and installed it in my microwave.  Appears to work as it should.  

I feel lucky that this guy returned the part.  Mr. Miller may have had problems with his recent move.  He made his problem my problem.  All of the grief and aggravation I experienced could have been eliminated by simply responding to one of my emails or phone calls.  

He may not be a thief, but he certainly has a lot to learn about customer service.

I will NEVER use his service again.
