William Ekeroth, owner of the 'Leather and Laces' party during Superbowl weekend, is a professional con artist and preys on local companies each year where the Super Bowl takes place. New Orleans Superbowl 2013 Event Planners and Sponsors please take note and pass along the word not to work with this guy.

Last year in Indianapolis he swindled virtually ALL of the vendors and sponsors involved in the production of his party, including: The Venue, Catering, Modeling Agencies, Attendees, Ticket Agencies, Lighting and Production Companies, and Corporate Sponsors. Please do your research and contact any of the companies he worked with last year if you need reassurance of his extremely poor business morale (not hard to find via google from last year)

His financial practices are downright crooked as he will decline credit card deposits, cancel checks, dispute charges and virtually do anything possible to avoid paying his bills. Several of the companies are in litigation trying to recoup money owed, some in excess of $30,000.

Furthermore The Leather and Laces party itself is a complete "Hype" event. Virtually zero celebrities attend the event other than the 3 that William pays to show up for 4 hours. Females can usually get in the party free, but men are expected to pay upwards of $500 to attend Leather and Laces, only to find out once they get in that they severely overpaid.

Also William built a reputation in Indianapolis in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl for taking advantage of aspiring female models with promises of Hollywood connections/glamour, etc.  Anyone with friends in the modeling industry in New Orleans PLEASE pass this report along so they steer clear of William and his lies
