William Jackson, The Jackson Group "Supposed" friend walks off with Insurance check to do work on House damaged by Storm Cleveland Mississippi
A supposed friend I thought I knew, William Jackson, contacted me April 8, 2008 wanting to know if I had been affected by a tornado that had ripped through my town. I guess to convince me he could do the work, he and his brother, Eugene, completed a smaller project for me. My insurance company and mortgage company needed an estimate on the work, he worked up a contract agreement. The insurance company agreed with it and sent the first half of the check to me.
I submitted the check to the mortgage company who then requested a W-9 from him. This was submitted along with the estimate to the mortgage company. They cut a check, 1/3 of what the insurance company sent with his name, my name and his TIN on the check. He signed it, he then said he needed the amount to purchase the material and pay his crew. The amount needed was the amount of the check, desperate to get the work started, I signed the check over.
He came and started demolition work on the house and that was it. He called to say he had other small jobs to wrap up and he would start the following week. I called him, he called back a week later stating that he had started on the house, I went by my property, no work and no crew.
It has been 3 months He will not return my calls or the insurance company's calls. He claims the following that he is from Cleveland, MS; played football for Mississippi State University and Washington Redskins; his brother is a preacher in Cleveland, MS; that he owns property throughout Jackson, MS and the coast of MS. I'm sure none of the above is true if so, very little of it is. I need my initial insurance money, if anyone can help please step forward.

Mr. Jackson also has stolen from me as well. Everything you have stated in this report, is the exact same thing he has done to me. I received my insurance adjustment check and paid him in advance and that was May 17th, 2013 and have not heard from him since. He refuses to answer my calls or texts and I have no other info to find him. If you have any other way to find him please contact me so we can bring him to justice. Thank you.
