Complaint Review: WILLIAM PAIGE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF STATEN ISLAND

Going on my second mortgage modification due to the economy, my lender sent me a packet with companies to help you modify or short sale your home. 

In our case I wasnt too woried since I was a mortgage broker for 9 years back in 2007 and knew I had some time but my wife and I  didnt want to loose our home, we didnt have the money to relocate with 4 people in our family,and we were already 13 months behind on the mortgage.

I made an appointment with NHS (Neighborhood Housing Services of Staten Island) and had an appointment with a Mr. William Paige, when I arrived and met Mr.Paige he reminded me of the scammers I used to work with in the mortgage industry, You know the kind that have 4 million in the pipeline and a house and recording company in Atlanta BUT who dosent have 2 nickles to rub together and drives a broken down car and owes $45k in back child support.  Got the picture ??

When it cam down to the wire my lender was refusing my modification Paige had not taken care of anything for me with my lender and became a ghost never returning my calls weeks went by my wife was irate with me for dealing with such a person I even went to the office but he was with clients and couldnt see me. I left multiple messages never to hear back from anyone.. DONT LET HIM DO THIS TO YOU!! I cant imagine how this place makes money. there just RIPOFFS 

ps: I delt with the bank myself and my modification was approved but if I would have waited for NHS i would have lost my home.
