Willowview Kennel, Mike&Kathy Pell SHE NEVER DID GIVE ME AKC PAPERS Stanfield North Carolina
Kathy Pell never has gave me my papers. I paid $750 for an AKC registered Scottish Terrier. Do you think I ever did get my papers? NO! Everytime I email and ask her to help, she just pushes it off to the side like there is nothing wrong with the situation.
I have called AKC about this problem, and they said all she needs to do is send $15 to them, and they will get me a duplicate application. Then, Kathy Pell is telling me that I need to pay her $250 for papers, because that is what AKC charges.
To be honest with you, she is just a strait up b***h!
All she is worried about is her money, she don't care nothing about her dogs or puppies and on top of that the CUSTOMER!
If she cared anything about anything, she would help me. I pray for anyone that has also bought a dog from her
Thanks.....

I purchased a perfect AKC registered scottish terrier from Kathy Pell and the transaction was very pleasant and I recieved my papers with no problems at all. I love my scottie and would recommend her for puppies anytime. I've had scotties all my life and my Mavis is a perfect example of a scottish terrier and healthy. Just saying!!

I have purchased several puppies from Kathy Pell (willowview kennels). These include a Japanese chin, yorkie, and papillons. I am very happy with the puppies that I bought from Kathy. They are fairly priced. They are beautiful, small, healthy, and very well socialized. Kathy works very hard to take care of her puppies. She is always available to answer all questions. I have received my AKC registration paperwork for my puppies. The puppies are up to date on all vaccinations. I highly recommend buying a puppy from Kathy! I will continue to recommend her to others.
Thanks,

I purchased my first Scotty from Willowview in 2007. This is our first experience with scotties and thanks to the quality dog we purchased we are hooked. We had no problems with Kathy at all. We picked out our puppy, she made sure he got what he needed to help with car sickness, we got our akc papers with no problems. Needless to say we are in love with our little Bogart, and when we are looking for another Scotty, we will go to Willowview.

In March 2003 we purchased the light of our life from Kathy Pell. A beautiful Scottish Terrier named Sunshine. Kathy was very honest in our transaction with her and is still in contact with us on a regular basis. She has always answered any questions quickly. Sunshine is the youngest of the 3 Scotties we own and the smartest. Unbelievably smart. The first 2 were purchased elsewhere. Sunshine is not only extremely intelligent, she has never spent one minute at the vet for any reason except routine shots and spay. Her coat is lush, thick and long. People always admire her beauty when we go on walks. We never had any problems getting our AKC papers from Kathy or AKC.

I have purchased a dog form Kathy and I think she is very nice and a very good breeder. I also know other people who have purchased dogs from her and are very happy with them and her. Maybe if you would try to do things the right way it would work out a little better for you next time. You should try to get everything in order before you breed the dog!

Mr Swing did not buy that dog from Willowview Kennel. He purchased the dog from the original buyer who was given the AKC papers.

Mr Swing purchased this puppy from a Mr LeBeaux of Lexington NC who was the original buyer of the puppy and who was given the papers at the time the puppy was sold. I found this out about a year after the puppy was sold when Mr Swing's wife (or some lady) started sending me emails requesting that I get a paper for the dog. She asked me to bend the rules and get the duplicate and send it to her. At that time I informed her that I could not do that and additionally that I usually sold dogs with limited AKC papers which meant that puppies produced could not be registered with AKC. She said I could change that too.
At that time I told her she would have to contact Mr LeBeaux as AKC requires the chain of title be maintained breeder to owner to owner, etc.
In January of this year (2009) Mr Swing started sending emails asking for the same thing. I called AKC several times to clarify there regulations and asked him to call the same representative that I had talked to.
AKC will not issue a duplicate paper for Mr Swing as he was not the owner of the puppy listed on the original application. I have never sold a puppy to Mr Swing and he does not have a contract of any kind with Willowview Kennel.
His account of the transaction is a complete lie and he is a breeder and he wanted the paper for the dog to use it to register puppies. If he had bought a puppy from me directly, he would have read my contract which states puppies are to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.
I can not have a paper issued that I could furnish to him at any price because he never bought that puppy from me. I am an AKC inspected kennel in good standing and that can be verified.

So, what does your contract say? If you are so certain that it is a duplicate needed, then the litter was registered, and they aren't misleading people. Did you recieve your papers when you bought the puppy and lose them somehow? Where you supposed to provide proof of spay or neuter from a vet first? Are you supposed to send her the $15.00? You aren't so upset because your dog is pregnant or something right? What's the real story here?
