My wife had a door to door salesman come to our door to sell her the Winder Farms delivery service.  He was pretty persistent telling her how great it was and that if she signed up, she could cancel at anytime.  He even threw in some free stuff with the first delivery.  She signed up thinking she would try it.  After a couple months, we noticed the fruit wasn't that gret and they sent an abundance of Lemons and Limes, which we didn't use very often.  The cost was much higher than the store, so she decided to call and cancel.  The sales person on the phone tried upselling her and then discounting the service, but my wife said she'd just prefer to cancel it.  She was then told that she would have to pay a $50.00 cancellation fee.  There apparrantly were fine print terms of the document she signed with the door to door salesperson and there apparantly was 42 more weeks to those terms.  My wife explained that she was told by the sales person that she could cancel anytime, but the person on the phone just told her that she could, it would just cost her $50.00.  She was very upset.  All the person on the phone offered was to give her the contact information of her salesperson.  They try to seperate themselves from the sales people so they are not liable for what they say to potential customers.  Very unprofessional and unethical.  I would avoid doing any business with Winder Farms given how crooked their sales people can be and how their corporate office handles these issues.  Beware!
