I am under the impression that a debt collection agency cannot call (and keep calling once they are told the ADULT they are looking for does not reside @ the said address), however, Windham "Professionals" keep calling my home. I have explained to them 5-6 times that my daughter does not live here, she is an adult and it is her loan. The last time they called I recorded it. Can I stop them from this harassment and if so how?

A handy website was started which will help you in getting them to leave you alone, including links to all of the governmental agencies that can actually fine them.

You can even call the CEO if you want.  Her direct line is in there.

They probably found you through skip tracing. Collectors have access to the debtors private info and can find most people through an accurint report and credit report both which cost them money. You can do one of two things 1. Tell them where your grown daughter is an let her grown self deal with it 2. tell the collector to not contact you again and write a letter to windham to "Cease and Desist" from any collection calls to your home send it certified mail to ensure delvery and if they call you they will be in violation of FDCPA laws. Hope this helps.

Did you OR someone on your behalf sign your name and ss to this loan? Even if you were used as a reference they will do anything to find her.
