Last August we were notified by Windjammer via email that they were having a cruise sale! 2 people could sail for $499 per person. We have been on several Windjammer cruises and have had the best times of our lives - phone calls were made and we gathered a group of 20 people to join us on a cruise for August 2 - 9.

After the cruise was booked, we heard of their financial difficulties. We spent almost an hour on the phone with Ms. Shannon Mano, who had been working for Windjammer for 20 years. She assured us that the cruise line was going to be fine, they had investors lined up to buy the hurting company and that she was excited by the prospect of these new owners.

Their website went up and down, on and off, and the same with their phone lines. We spoke with them 6 weeks ago and they said that they would sail starting in May. Now their phone lines are down and it seems like it is time to throw in the towel.

They have been taking money fully knowing that they are in trouble. They continued to take money as recently as a few weeks ago. I have 20 people that are depending on me to help them find a way to get their money back. We are out thousands of dollars; and people who followed our recommendations that this is a great cruise line are apt to be angry about the money they have lost. I need to get our money back!
