1. New Sliding Glass Doors were installed in the East Bedroom, Living room and West Bedroom. Start 11/4/20 end 11/13/20. Contract # CGC1518491 Invoice # Mat-0815. Inspected on 11/12/20 Failed inspection due to failure to provide buck Affidavit and on 11/13/20 and failed inspection due to NOA stickers were removed from windows. Permit # 2003515 Inspector M.Russo. Waiting on final inspection. If you are a reputable company you are very familiar with NOA compliances.

Page 2 of the submittal sheet states that "The joint must be covered with a thin layer of compound and embedded tape". Your work crew did not use embedded tape at the joints. On the initial installation nor on 11/23/20. I did write a letter (attached) making them aware on the correct way to use this product but they continued to disregard the manufactures directions along with their lack of drywall work, produced unacceptable workmanship. Pictures attached show visual joint cracks and unacceptable workmanship. I was able to acquire my condo contractor to complete the drywall repair and want The Window Guys to be liable for all fees in cured when I receive the contractor's final invoice (pictures attached).
4. The Window Guys need to cover the cost of the mirrors being removed (an emergency job) my contractor stopped all his projects to come at 8:00am on 11/05/20 to remove the mirrors as demand by The Window Guys phone call to me on 11/04/20 at 5:30 pm after workers left for the day. No mention of window removal by the salesmen or worker that came for final measurement. I asked them both questions regarding the mirrors but I was NEVER told to remove them. If it was mentioned I surely wouldn't have waited to do so. Regarding the two wall mounted mirrors with associated baseboard, and crown molding. I'm requesting the total amount of compensation to remove and reinstall mirrors baseboard, and crown molding associated with this job on receiving the final invoice.
5. On completion of all work. The Board will impose on me, your workers infractions. As of now I owe $300. (See attached Chapter Xi, Board letter to follow).
6. I am asking for reimbursement for the damage done to the tiles floor due to the lack of proper covering of tile and carpet as seen in photos attached. I had to lay down my own towels and blankets, placing tools on them only to have the men disregard the use of these items. I spoke to them and emailed the company about such flooring and windshield but again it was never addressed.
7. I am not asking for reimbursement for cleaning carpets, throw rugs, furniture, and flooring soiled by the lack of proper covering. I have sent many emails and letters to the owner and staff but have received only one response addressing reimbursement in the amount of around $550. This company is extremely unprofessional. They have lack of knowledge of the NOA guidelines, a must for this type of project.

Happy Holidays to you! I had thought I would have had time to show you the work The Window Guys finished up with when you and the architect were here but you were in a hurry and I was having major computer issues. Below are pictures of the work The Window Guys said was completed with quality, but I feel it was to the best of their ability and time. I went in front of the Cote d’ Azur Board a few weeks ago to asked for special permission to get my work completed even though it was quiet time (no construction and no noise) until April 15, 2021. I felt my home was unsafe (mirrors up against the bar with caution tape so no one would knock into them. 16 ft crown molding laying across the floor which I could easily trip over etc.) This is all due to the mirrors The Window Guys demanded be taken down when installing the doors. Something NEVER mentioned when selling me the sliding doors. The Board honored my request and so tomorrow my contractor is coming to install the mirrors and repair the poor workmanship left behind by The Window Guys second attempt at repairing their work which, when leaving the felt proud of. I will present the bill to you when I receive it. I just want to keep you in the loop of what is happening. You are welcomed to come by and witness the work being done.
I know we still have not passed inspection, again due to the inexperienced Window Guys you sent to install sliders in my home, a $40,000 job. Please keep me up-to-date with that situation. I would like to have closure to this nightmare.
