NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, that I am safe in my residency and no longer in the Caribbean I want to discuss my short two year experience or nightmare that I had as a student at Windsor University School of Medicine. I have read the other reports here on the Rip Off Report, and nothing in them is beyond credibility, indeed those reports are similar to what I would now like to report according to my direct experiences at Windsor University School of Medicine. I would like to talk about 1) the safety of the school, 2) the faculty reputation, 3) the treatment of students, and 4) the ability to get into residency or go to another program from Windsor University School of Medicine. St. Kitts is consistently the murder capital of the world, rated second in armed robberies and third in rape.

This is not published by the country of St. Kitts nor Windsor University  but, is well documented on multiple government and news websites.  When I was at Windsor a student was raped on a monthly to bimonthly. This is not inclusive of the sex for grades that was common practice at the school. The faculty is made up of individuals from the third world whom do not have doctor degree’s in medicine but bachelors degree’s and mostly from third world schools of little repute. None of the faculty have passed the USMLE I, II or III nor completed residencies. Few speak English clearly and in general most of the faculty just read off the slides.

A student is likely to get yelled at if they actually ask a question.  Students are treated like cattle, in most courses there is a 80-95% fail rate prior to the school giving what are called secondary exams which the school charges the student to take, up to 1000 dollars. I was never allowed to see my exam nor, allowed to challenge any questions on the exams. Students who insisted on seeing their exams were frequently kicked out of school on false pretenses.

One way to ensure passage of exams, was to either pay for the exam with money or sex. The pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and physiology exams were always for sale. The school claims they have a zero police sex with students, buying exams etc…not true, They only have a zero policy to reporting such things. As a student if you do you are kicked out of school or you will see that you fail every single exam.  Trying to transfer out of the school is almost impossible as the school will not provide student transcripts to transfer.  This perhaps doesn’t matter anyways as other school will NOT accept transfer credits from Windsor University School of Medicine. When I  left the school , I had to start again as a first year at another medical school . Obtaining residency from Windsor University School of Medicine is almost an impossibility.

In the United States and Canada this school is well regarded as a SCAM school. The website of the University lists residency placements but, those when looked into are fake.. When I was at Windsor perhaps 2 or 3 people out of one hundred were able to get into a legitimate residency program. Windsor University School of Medicine is a well know scam school which is run by a family for profit.  One would best avoid this school and save their money and time.  Besides no school is worth risking their life.
