I had watched the infomercials for the Singer Wind Storm several times on TV. It looks like an amazing product. It came down in price, and since my disability is worsening a vacuum that light with that much power seemed like the vac for me. The $59.85 down from $149.95 seems such a bargain. So, I ordered. It was supposed to be 3 payments of $19.95. I also order a pack of 3 cone filters.

On TV they say lifetime filter, and show them just rinsing it off and reusing. I ordered them because I thought what if I somehow damaged it and needed another. I paid extra for fast shipping it was supposed to change it from 8 weeks or more to appox 5 days.

Well, it didn't come nearly that quickly. They charged my debit card the full amount, and I contacted my bank to let them know these people had been paid in full and not to let them debit me again. Then I contacted the company and let them know they would not get away with that!

This vac is the sorriest piece of crap I have ever seen, thank goodness I didn't order it when it was higher. As the person before me said, it works fairly well as a corded hand vac, but that is way too much to pay for a fairly decent hand vac (especially when you can buy really good ones all around for a 1/3 of what I paid). That great cone filter does not just rinse right off. It is a pill to clean (that is why they push the extra ones at a supposed reduced price). The floor attachment has about 25% of the needed brushes on the roller, thus it will become matted and have to be cleaned out several times during a session, and they tout it as picking up pet hair! The incredible power of this amazing vac will not make that roller turn either. I have a Dirt Devil Stick Vac that I paid $29.99 + tax in 2000 for utility reasons that will still outperform this thing.

SO, don't order this thing. I have ordered very few things from infomercials, and they are usually not what they say they are. I guess we should see that if they come way down in price it is because they are trying to unload the crap, not that it is overstock or a dwindling market.
