I ordered the Singer Windstorm online in late Sep 05. I was sent what I thought was a shipping confirmation on Oct 8 via email. It included a order number and a FedEx Ground tracking number. I waited.

Sometime in Oct I clicked on the tracking number and saw no pick up or other tracking info. On Oct 23 (after checking several times online) I decided to call FedEx. They explained that the shipping label info had been sent but they had not been contacted for a pick up. And so the phone calls to IGIA began.

On Oct 26 I called the 716-8667 number and held for half an hour. I decided to email them. Sent an email on Oct 28 at 5:122 am that had in it all the info the had sent me. Got a response at 7:02am that someone would "personally respond to your e-mail within the next 24 hours to provide you with the level of service that you can expect with the IGIA Brand." Their response?!! At 7:16 pm: "Please contact customer service 800.716.8667". The very number I called before and had been told to email them.

Meanwhile my credit card statement came in with a charge of $173.20 that had been posted on Oct 6th.

On Nov 3rd, I sent a letter requesting the vacuum be sent right away, 2nd day air, not extra charge or cancel my order. Never received a response to the letter. Or the vacuum.

After more phone calls I finally got a live person on Nov 15. The rep. asked for a phone number to call me back. Would need to check with the warehouse. Never received a return call.

More phone calls. On Nov 23 I got a live person again. They said they would call back. They actually did. Said they vacuum would ship and I would receive it the last week in Nov or the 1st week in Dec. Dec 10th, no vacuum.

More calls. Today, Dec 27, 05, I got a live person and asked if the vacuum had been shipped. No. I told the rep to cancel my order and refund my money. She said the refund should show up on my credit card by Jan 8th.

I had decided to order another vacuum cleaner I had seen on TV - The PowerStorm. When I went to the web site it had the same advertisement video as the Windstorm. Then is when the lights went on. I clicked my back button to Google and saw the Ripoff Report site. My heart sank. Thank God, I didn't order the "other" vacuum!

Will update when anything else happens. Thanks for your wedsite.
