Complaint Review: Windy City Quality foods

 Simply put you are better off going to jewel and hand selecting the fresh unfrozen steaks you need for that particular day. I bought a case (five boxes) of meat) For about $10lb. I was promised high quality meat. What I got was in my opinion low to medium quality at best. Not to mention upon further inspection while unpacking I noticed the Julian dates were on some a month and others two months prior to the day I purchased them on. I called with my concern and was told that was a “packed on” date and not to worry “the steaks are all good”. I’m about half way through the meat and every steak has been less than “premium”. The steaks are very chewy and tough. Not to mention a third of the vacuum packages on the individual steaks leak after being defrosted. Lesson learned. Windy City Quality foods comes up short for me.
