WineInsiders.com Wine Insiders After following the websites instructions to a T and emailing the owner to verify, my package will not make it on time!! Earth City Missouri

I purchased a Groupon for a Wine Insiders wine package. I then paid an extra $25 on their website for higher quality wine and free expedited shipping. Per the company's website any order for New Year's Eve delivery must be made by 2:30 on the 26th. Well, I did that plus a few hours, but will not be getting anything until days after New Year's Eve!!! I was worried from the get go that something would go wrong so I sent an email inquiry into Wine Insiders and got a reply from the "OWNER". His response, "I just needed to relax and all would be fine". Hmm, not the case though is it!! I don't have a back up plan and am now of of a good bit of money on wine that I'll never use!! I just spoke to a customer service rep who informed me that my package would most certainly not be arriving in time but with her apologies and then offered a $60 store credit. I don't want or need a store credit, I want my money back.. That wasn't an option though because there was already a shipping label created. Yes, the same label that showed it was supposed to ship out on the 26th and arrive to me today!! So, just issue me a refund... Nope, couldn't do it nor could she get a manager on the phone... I asked her about the "free expedited shipping I paid extra for" and her response was,"We don't offer that"!! This is just horrible customer service and horrible business period!! There are way too many sites like this!! Do yourself a favor and choose any other so your not in the same situation I am.
