Complaint Review: Wink Flash

I have to be in agreement with the previous complaints on this company. Allow me to preface by saying that I work in a field where customer service is crucial and repeat business is a MUST. Neither of these seem to be important factors to WinkFlash.

I do professional graphics work and custom photo cards but have no photolab in my town where I can get a choice of matte vs. glossy, as well as odd sizes such as 4 x 8's. Thus I began an online search for a printer to ship the final product to me. WinkFlash won out thanks to the reasonable shipping as well as myriad of sizing, finish and gift product options.

Sadly, their FAQ's stating "typical" turnaround time are not so typical. It took repeated emails to customer service to even elicit a response on when my order might ship, and I lost two clients out of the deal. Never having used them, I didn't provide my clients a "promised" date, but rather a ballpark figure...and the receipt of product ended up being TWO WEEKS later than I'd estimated as per the information provided by WinkFlash.

In addition, their shipping information (now corrected on the website) was misleading. I have also noted, through other reviews and research that, in the less than two years they've been in operation, their shipping costs have increased three times at minimum.

The end product is satisfactory, but if you compare the quality to other online services, and weigh in the factors of time to produce, quality of communication and customer service, and reliability, they fall extremely short.
