Complaint Review: Winn-Dixie Save Rite Thriftway Jitney Jungle

Winn-Dixie in the Mississippi Region is all about un-fair labor practices and discrimination of elderly individuals and those of different nationalities. James Robin of Columbus/Starkville Mississippi runs this District and has admitted on several different occasions his dis-like for elderly people and other groups.

I worked for Winn-Dixie for approximately 7 years, and during that reign gathered valuable information concerning time-clock violations including tampering with hours to make a budget. I also gathered information concerning what is consumed in our so-called private personal files. Winn-Dixie and James Robin are meant for each other. Any company that makes you work off the clock on a periodic basis and then threatens to terminate employment if you go forward with the information has serious problems. This is what James Robin and Winn-Dixie are about.

I was laid off because I was tired of withholding this information and tired of working 100 hour weeks, and getting paid for 40 hour weeks. To all investers or anyone else interested in buying this company, please think twice. The list goes on when we talk about Winn-Dixie. For instance, James Robin believes in having his meat departments to reprocess meat on a daily basis. Yes, that means even if the meat is one week old, it is taken to the back and reprocessed and given new shelf life. This is what James Robin preaches to his meat departments. People are getting ripped off each day because of this. These are serious health and government violations. To all of you out there, please take your business elsewhere, for your safety.
