January 24, 2002, sold lifetime alignment policy in the Orange store, #043, with full knowledge that there would be one store, Oroville, which is within 20 minutes from my home, that could service me. The only other store is in Yuba city, which is about 40 minutes away.

I discussed with the salesman that I would be moving to Paradise, N.California, the following week for a permanent move, which is about 2.5 hrs. away from the only other location in Sacramento. Unknown to me at that time was that both the Oroville and Yuba City stores had already closed.

Reported to corporate, District Mgr., Rick Calcagni, on 7/31/02, once I had discovered that I would have to drive to Sacramento for service. Spoke with several employees at corporate and Rick. He agreed "in all fairness" a refund should be issued. They should not have sold you a policy since the Oroville store had been closed".

Reported to corporate, Stan, on 9/23/02, still had not received refund from Rick. Referred me to Rick Calcagni again. Spoke directly with Rick, he apologized for not following through, he had been sick, but would have a refund sent immediately.

Called corporate again today, 1/7/03 at 9:01 a.m., voice mail access only. Left message for Rick to please respond by phone. It is now after 12:00 noon and I have had no contact.
