I bought (2) Cell Phones from wireFly.com a Motorola V3 RAZR from the web on June 3, 2005. Sent in the rebates after waiting the required 180 days. Its been 60+ days and they have yet to send my $400 ($200 x 2 ). I keep checking on their web site inphonic.rebatestatus.com no luck... I did get this email from customer.service@cs.rebatestatus.com stating the rebate can be viewed 4 weeks after sending in the request. But normal processing time is between 10-12 weeks.

Recently, in late Jan 2006, after 2 months I contacted Cingular about the issue. I am still waiting to hear back from Patrick Cuevas - Emp# PC1101 about $ 400 rebate. Cinqular offered help with collection from Wirefly after faxing them all the same paperwork request / forms on Jan 24, 2006.

Do they think all customers are fools? This looks like a sacm or a fraud. It's been MONTHS and wirefly is still fooling customers. What elese must I do to collect my rebate?

Note: Wirefly might want to add their own "Rebuttal" to this. But maybe they should first review my request since it clearly show that the required request was mail after the 180 days waiting but before the 210 days as per the refund requirments. I did try to call them @ 1-866-800-4303 (Number provided by Cingular) but that person would not give me their fax number so that I could re-send them copies (20+ pages).

It takes 10-12 weeks to process rebates

What's your order number? I'll look up the status of your rebates if you can provide me with that information (send me an email off-line).

I realize that 10-12 weeks seems like a long time to wait for a check, but our processing time is advertised along with the rebate terms on all rebate deals we offer. Unfortunately there is a process rebate submissions have to go through, as we need to process your paperwork, verify your standing with the carrier, etc.

We've experiencing phenomenal growth in the last year, which has resulted in a large volume of rebate claims. We even changed rebate vendors -- this center has larger capacity -- in the fall in order to serve our customers better.

We appreciate your patience, and ask our customers to understand that we're working on speeding up this process.
