Complaint Review: Wirefly - CellularChoices

Wirefly - CellularChoices Sold me an obsolete/defective phone holding me to contract. no rebate either. Bought phone in 4/06 ripoff White Bear Lake Minnesota

The company started out as Cellular Choices. I purchased my phone with them and have service with Alltel. The phone I purchased, a MotorolaV120x, was available online through them, but Alltel had discontinued using it.

The phone will not hold a charge, never has and never will. Now, it will not even take a charge "unable to charge". Cellular Choices was taken over by Wirefly, who I thought would be more helpful, but, all I wanted to do was return this discontinued/defective phone for another one and I didn't care about the $100.00 rebate (still have not received). My rebate was returned for a second time with "something not right on the form". EDP@inphonic.com has threatened to automatically charge my credit card if I discontinue service on this phone prior to the two-year agreement.

It is a rip-off, you can't find them and you don't hear from them.

Also, my old cell phone # was to be transferred originally, however, it couldn't be done, that's when I received the email they were going to auto-bill my credit card for $250.00 because I had discontinued service. I had to get another number through Alltel and that was the only change. Alltel is okay, but they shouldn't be associated with Wirefly/Inphonic/Cellularchoices, or whatever name they go by.
