3/27/05 I had order two Cingular phones off of "Wirefly.com" web site this past Thursday (3/24/05) and it came back that I needed a deposit of $150.00 per phone. I paid the full deposit on Saturday morning (3/26/05) by calling their website up (888) 378-6509 and had one of their foreign operators take my deposit via credit card. Later on that day when I went to check on the status of my order it said that it was being sent to Cingular for credit approval (something that was already done on Thursday). So I called Cingular up to see what was going on with my order; a customer service rep. told me that my phone was being held because a deposit wasn't made. I went and check with my credit card company to see if they had take the deposit from my credit card account and they did.

I just called Cingular again and explained to them my problem and was given the phone number to their consumer fraud department (I will call tomorrow, being Easter Sunday this department is closed).

I found this website and saw a lot of similiar complaints and felt obliged to give mine. No matter how good their deals may look to you, find a differnt company to do business with. I have a feeling I won't be getting those phones from Cingular any time soon and I want to warn as many people about them.

I will be contacting both the New York State Attorney Genrals office and the FCC to file a complaint against this company tomorrow. I will update this statement, as I try and resolve this matter
