WireFly Mobile ripoff BOGUS denial of one Rebate Claim while accepting other rebate! Washington District of Columbia

Purchased wireless phone from wirefly.com with service from Verizon Wireless. Offer was for two rebates. One at $50 and a second for $150. The first rebate was approved but the second rebate had 2 bogus submission errors.

First they noted: Dates of the wireless bill(s) you submitted with your rebate claim do not fall within the date range specified on the rebate claim form. This is not true.

Second they noted: The terms of this rebate require that the claim be postmarked no later than 120 days after activation or process date. This is also not true.

Gee why approve one rebate and double ding the second?

Just to be clear, both rebates had the same terms, so it makes sense that they should either both be approved or denied. The status on the $50 rebate is approved, so I'm simply waiting for it to arrive.

Also the toll free number to contact these folks is a joke.
If you have any question or concerns please call (866) 607-9877.
You get put on hold and never reach anyone. One day I waited for 45 minutes and finally hung up.

I have just set them an e-mail saying I was going to report them to a state agency if I didn't get a response by Monday. Question is: What is the best agency in the state of Florida to send my complaint?

Looks like a great website, hope you folks can help me.

PS. I'm in Tallahassee the state capital.

After doing more research I have found that Wirefly Mobile is controlled by InPhonic. Also according to their website: www.inphonic.com, they will now be running the cell phone sales website for Best Buy and Staples.

Wow, if these folks can't get the rebates straight on their own websites, then I truly wish good luck to all the fools who think they are buying through Best Buy and Staples!

While this message will probably get ignored by InPhonic, I still plan on reprting them to the Florida department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. And the states Attorney Generals office for back up.

Still to be fair, I'll give them until Monday to respond. All I want is the rebates that came with the phone. Stop playing with comsumers!
