Wireless Communications And Verizon Wireless Deceptive home areas and roaming charges, Uncaring customer service, Vendor refuses on refund policy by verizon Palm Bay Florida .....

Multiple phones purchased at a kiosk inside a Home Depot store. Kiosk owned and managed by Wireless Communications of Georgia. Services sold are Verizon Wirless communications. Service that I purchased was for no roam in florida, nationwide free LD. My home is 1 mile from point of purchase and I showed "roam" on my phones while placing call from my own front yard. I called Customer Service and they told me that not all areas were able to be "nonroam" no matter what the contract said. They told me that my calls will be billed as Roam calls and there was little to nothing I could do about it. I reminded them of the 15 day recind offer made contractualy and they hung up.

I went to the Kiosk that I made my phone/service purchase and told them that I was cancelling service and told them why. Kiosk Employee said that he had run across this problem more times than he cared to count and that he would make some calls for me. He did and was able after much wrangling to get my "roam" charges reversed, but they told him that no further adjustments would be made. I told him to cancell my service at that time. He called to do that and he said that they told him to string me along long enough(past my 15 days) so that I would be unable to cancel my contract. I of course thanked him for his honesty and got on the phone myself. I gave the

Customer Service agent my E-Mail address ...
PalmBayInvestigations@hotmail.com and asked that they put that in writing. Of course her whole tune changed and she reluctantly cancelled my contract. I then asked when I would receive my refund for the equipment. She told me that even though I wrote my checks to Verizon for the purchase , that I would have to get my refunds elsewhere and she hung up.

Kiosk employee made a call to his district manager and he was told that I would get my refund in 5 to 7 days directly from "wireless Communications" the owners of the Kiosks in the Home Depot's Well that was on 24 December. It is now nearing the end of January and still no refunds. Many Calls and many excuses. Time for courts, media, and lawyers I guess. Buyer beware....very aware. Mind you..none of this has anything to do with Home Depot Corporation. They are a different story... I will share that another time.

Wireless Communications Bad Business

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Thu, March 06, 2003

Having worked for Wireless Communications I can assure you that there business practices are questionable...They are sales driven and they expect you do do whatever it takes to make sales...

I was fired for not making enough sales...I was there a little over 3 weeks and was never entered into the computer to validate my sells and another employee got credit for my sales and I got fired...My first paycheck was short 2 days pay...I notified my Area Sales Manager who stated she would have a check cut...A week later I was fired and I never knew I was fired until an employee called to find out...Then she stated I was for not selling enough phones...I tried to explain I did sell phones that I wasn't in the computer and someone else was getting my sales...I stated I was going to call corporate and she stated she didn't care...I called the Regional Manager who stated he was unable to talk at the time and would call back...as you can guess I never heard back...I called the corporate office and was not allow to talk to anyone...

Beware of their contacts Wireless Communications attaches an $200.00 early termination fee on the contacts plus you have a $175.00 early termination fee with Verizon also...the company was telling us to get the customers credit number or checking account information so they could collect the $200.00 if need be...

They also give misleading information about plans such as roaming...I have seem a salesperson state that the white area on the America's Choice (map) plan as the extended calling area...it's not it's a roaming area and roaming rates apply...

Oh and about the money for the 2 days of missing pay...I had to call payroll because it was never reported...the payroll lady called my Sales Manager and got it straightened out...also I was told I would be getting paid for the day I went to work and didn't know I was fired...that's yet to be seen...Don't blame Verizon or Home Depot for the experiences with Wireless Communications...Notify them about the business practices of Wireless Communications...

Wireless Communications has big problems...
