I bought a brand new Droid for $352.63 from this Kiosk store at the Burbank Mall on September 25th, 2010, where the manager Carla was very nice and helpful. The girl that actually sold me the phone Liliya Baghmouri told me to come back after October 10, 2010 for my Mail and Rebate. I went back the week after October 10, 2010 for Mail and Rebate and I asked them if they can take a look at my phone because it had already started giving me problems such as: the battery would die every 2 hours after about 2 conversations for 5-10 minutes, also there was something wrong with the opening for the charger, it wouldn't stay in there correctly and every time I would plug in the phone it would turn off. The employee there told me that they can't do anything about it right now and they don't have the phone, also the manager was not there Carla. He also told me that I should not send the Mail and Rebate because I need to have the barcode for returns and exchanges for the first 30 days. I understood that part, except they did not have any phones at the moment to exchange my phone with and the 30 day period was coming to an end. He also told me that it's probably because of the aplications that I have on my phone and I need to download an app to kill the running programs. He did not have any idea how to find the app or even what it is called. Therefore, I searched for that app myself and downloaded it, and it seemed like it was working for a bit, but then I realized that there is something wrong with this phone, and its not the programs running or the battery. I sent the Mail and Rebate to Verizon and then couple of days later the phone started giving me even more problems, where it would just turn off and the battery would die even faster.

Eventually I started getting more frustrated so I went to the corporate stores that Verizon has and it seemed like they could not do anything about it because I did not buy the phone from them, I bought it from an authorized retailer. However, one of the employees at the corporate store at Verizon told me that those authorized retailers are allowed to sell USED phones. Really????? I just paid close to $400 for a used phone. Also, he told me that I can call Verizon and just transfer the contract to their store and they will take care of it.  So I went back to that Kiosk at the Burbank Mall and told them that my phone still dies all the time, so they just immediately pulled out a battery from another phone and told me that should fix the problem. I took that battery and asked them about the rest of the problems, so just to cover their mess more, they just wrote me the warranty number on a piece of paper and told me to call them and request a new phone. So I asked them about the 30 days return and exchange policy, and the employee who was so nice when she was selling me the phone, Lilya Baghmouri, told me that they do not have a 30 days return and exchange policy.

WHAT? WHAT? GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT!!!! So wait a minute, the employee who was working there the first time told me not the send the Mail and Rebate because of the 30 day return and exchange policy and now you are telling me that you dont have one!!! WOW!!! HOW ARE THEY EVEN IN BUSINESS!!! SCAMMERS!!! Ok, so I've been on the phone with Verizon Wireless for a whole day on October 21st, trying to transfer the contract, I CANT, then they transfered me to the Mail and Rebate department because they told me that I can stop the rebate and they will send it to me, AFTER A LONG HOLD AND PUSHING BUTTONS FOR 30 MINUTES TO GET TO A REAL PERSON, THAT DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT ONCE I HAVE SEND IN THE MAIL AND REBATE THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. OH MY LORD. By that time I am pretty sure that there was fire coming out of my ears. So I called that Kiosk again at the Burbank Mall, went there AGAIN AND TRIED TO REASON WITH THEM. SO AFTER WASTING MY TIME FOR 4 WEEKS, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. "PLEASE CALL THE WARRANTY NUMBER AND THEY WILL SEND YOU ANOTHER PHONE." WHAT???? NO, SO FINALLY I JUST SPOKE TO VERIZON WIRELESS AND FILED A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS KIOSK. I AM FILING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! THAT IS INSANE. All I wanted was to get an upgrade and enjoy my new phone and it has been nothing but HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL. SO PLEASE NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY A PHONE FROM A KIOSK. THEY ARE BUNCH OF SCAMMER WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT SALES AND WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. OHHHH DID I MENTION THAT THEY NEVER HAVE A MANAGER ON SITE. SCAMMER SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS.

My name is Carla Daoud and i own wireless links at burbank mall.Customer Gergana purchased a droid from wireless links on sept 25th. While making the purchase she was complaining about the corporate store in Glendale and how they sold her a broken blackberry and they refused to give her an upgrade..When she came to my store onSept 25, 2010i looked up her account andsaw shewas notdue for an upgrade for another month but based on her story i went above and beyond to help this lady get her upgradeone month early..We normally dont give customers there upgrade one month early but i wanted to take care of her because she was an existing customer of mine who has purchased a few phones in the past. Ive been in the business for over 10 years andmy goalis to treat every customer fairlyso that they are happy and theycome back. She made an assumptionthe phonewas used because she started having problems with the phone. When she came down complaining about her battery, my employee took care of her right away and immediately gave her a brand new battery, He also showed her how to download apps and use her phone. She than called saying she wanted to exchange her phone because it continued having problems. I happened to be at the store when she called and told her i would take care of it and not to worry about it. when she came down a couple days later to exchange it we didnt have any in stock, we than told her to come back and we will take care of the exchange with no problem. We dont take phones back with a cut barcode, however if its defective we make the exception..ispoke to Gergana over the phone and told her i would swap out her phone and make the exception even though she cut the barcode. I even offered her a different phone until we got the one she wanted but she wanted the same one. Whatshe stated about our return policy and the barcode is highly incorrect. Our contract and receipt both state customer has 30 days to exchange/return phone which is the same policy as corporate. When we received our shipment the next day i called her and gave her options and told her she can exchange it or even get a full refund. My employees including myself helped her out to the best of our ability. Wireless links has been in business since 2003 at the burbank mall and we strongly believe customers are our top priority. To Gergana we apoligize if you feel this way about the way you were taken care of butwe feel that we took care of you when you came in and when you called.
